Hanging out!

The kids and the dog playing video games. I think the dog is the best player of all...at least he knows how to be comfy!
This weekend was extremely low key. Did things that have been needing to get done for months! Like clean out the garage, cut kindling for next year, lots of yard work, oh and a game of basketball in the middle of it. Then we went to the lake and had a bon fire and roasted hotdogs! It was so much fun! Hope all our friends had a great weekend too!

Soggy & Sunny!

Well, we won't be short on water this summer! We are getting our share this week. It is soggy, but every now and again the sun peeks out to give us hope! Easter weekend was fun with the family. The kids were so funny, they are all getting so big that it is halarious to watch them! I think they enjoy it still, at least they act like it! Plus, it thrills Grandma to have all her grandkids home!! We got the boat out and went for a spin around the lake for the first time this year. It was cold, but fun! Some of the kids went wake boarding.......brrrrrr! The kids and I spent the week with out Nick. He went to Baton Rouge for work....but he is home and we are glad! The dog is relieved too, he was on full alert duty while Nick was gone. He slept all day after Nick got back, he was beat!

Easter Pic's

The kid's with their eggs...after the hunt! Evan looking for eggs! Everyone is searching! Evan found the lucky egg!

Spring Break w/o kids!

Spring break already, and Nick and I are free of kids! The kids went to grandma and grandpa's to help out this week, and make a little cash! They are happy, and we are happy! Nick and I have been eating some quiet dinners, and have really quiet car rides. We decided that we should take advantage of being free and do some sight seeing around our own town. The tulip festival is going strong, and the fields were beautiful. We chose a perfect night to catch a great sunset too! Tonight we are going out to eat...with out the kids we don't know where to go. They always seem to have their own ideas that we hardly know how to choose on our own. I think it will be "The Pink House", which is what we call a very cute and yummy mexican house. It is a place that I have often eaten lunch at, but Nick always misses out. But, of course Nick may think of something else! Then, maybe we will come home and pop some popcorn, take a hot bath and listen to the Ball Game! So romantic!! We must be getting old! The weather is beautiful...just in the 50's, but that will do! I love the spring weather it gives me so much energy! It is a good thing, as the lawn is needing mowed about every 4 days! I hope this finds everyone haveing a good week!

Scenery At Our Place!

Daffidils in full bloom! Daffodils with the mountains behind. Unfortunantly Mt. Baker was behind a cloud cover... Tulips, just about ready to bloom...I feel so lucky to live amongst all this beautiful scenery!!

This & That!

Spring really is here! Daffodils always make a person feel cheery! Zeke reading the Cabela's magazine....fits right in with the rest of the boys in the house! Abi and a few friends celebrating an early birthday!!!
