Went to the ZOO!

We went to Point Defience Zoo. We all had fun, and the weather was great! We hadn't been here since Abi was a tiny baby! You can see Mount Rainier in the background of the picture along with the Puget Sound, etc.

The kids wanted to be able to show dad that they got close to some deer while he was gone hunting this week!

Can you see how sunken chested this mirror made Talon. It was halarious to see all our shapes!

This tiger was being fed meat during this picture. She was growling and making all kinds of horrible noises. I was glad for the deep ditch between us!

After leaving the zoo we went on a scenic drive. These 3 racoons were making themselves right at home next to our car. Do you think they escaped the zoo?

All in all, we had a great day. Nick was gone hunting out of town for a week, so we thought we needed to go and have some fun one day out of the week!

School Time!

Talon has started High School! My cute little boy is growing up! I remember the first day of Kindergarten for him he asked me "Momma, do you sink you could stay and watch me for a widdle while?" Oh, how times have changed!

Abi wasn't available for pictures, so I will post one as soon as she approves of the timing! 8th grade seems to mean you choose your picture days and outfits very carefully! Yeah, what ever!

Nick also started school! I couldn't get him to wear any new outfits for a picture either. He is in school for the long haul, and working full time on top of it! Should be an interesting next couple of years! He hopes to get his Bachelors in Business Administration and then his Masters after that!

Hugh and Chandra's First Dance

Thought this was a neat picture of the two. Hugh is just seeing her for the first time in her dress!

My Dad getting the car all dusted off. He completely restored it for the wedding so that Hugh and Chandra could drive away in it! It looks awesome!

Evan and Talon (best man & groomsman) came to the rehearsal dressed as dumb and dumber. It was pretty funny!

My mom and dad had a mexican themed dinner for the wedding party the night before. So, they had a pinata! Here is Chandra getting ready to WHACK it....Look out dad! The couple went to Mexico for their honey moon, how appropriate!!
