Headed out to my favorite vacation spot with my Mom the first week and then Nick came the second week! It was awesome weather, and the best relaxing I have had in forever!

We took a tour of a native families gardens. They were amazing! Here is tree that I think was called an Australian Fig Tree! The roots were all above ground.
Nick headed out surfing. I actually went out with him this year and had fun till I crashed! My dad got out and tried it too...he rode in a few waves! I think I was more entertainment for those on the beach!!
This is where I was most of the 2 weeks I was there! When it got too hot, I just put my chair closer to the water and let the waves come in! It was great! This picture was taken up at Ke'e beach on the north shore of Kauai.
This momma hen brought her chicks by our place everyday. We got to see them grow in the 2 weeks, it is amazing how fast they grow! The babies kept jumping on the momma's back for rides. I guess they get tired of scratching for food all day!!
Here I am with my friend. We meet up every year I go. His puppy is so cute!
Here is the sunrise out our window! I have tons of pictures of this. Every morning I would think it was prettier than the day before....I will only put one on the blog so I don't bore you too badly!
