Shopping Trip with Boys!

I noticed today as I was getting Talon's room ready for company that he was really low on clothes. He had one pair of pants and small shirts, etc. So, desperate to go shopping I mentioned how needful he was of some new duds. He looked at me blankly and said, "Why?" Knowing that it was going to take some pulling of teeth to get him shopping I thought up a way that he might enjoy it. I mentioned to him that Dad and I would take him to dinner of his choice and he could order anything he wanted and then we would go get some new jeans (and other things on my list that I didn't mention) and then on the way home stop at dairy queen for icecream. He thought that sounded okay if Abi didn't go along as part of the deal....great! What ever it takes! I am thinking Ya-Whoooo!! Well, after stuffing ourself with pizza from the Pizza Factory and watching a dreadful football game while doing so we went to the first store. He went straight to the jeans picked out 2 and was getting in line to leave all before I got past the doorway sales rack! I said he had to try them on, (I needed a few minutes in the ladies section at least) he groaned and headed to the fitting room. He is either really fast or ran in the room, made a few faces in the mirror and ran out saying they were exactly right. We got back in the car and were done. Now is that a boring "Man" shopping trip or what? I did at least come home with a new ice scraper.....wo-whee! The eating took 45 minutes and the shopping took 5! I will never attempt taking them shopping again. Abi, you and me baby from now on!! Hope everyone else had a more fulfilling evening tonight!
