Finally, A good morning! The dogs are playing and entertaining each other so good.
They are making a horrible mess, but compared to the few weeks we've had, this is heaven!!
Nick does sit-ups and push-ups every night and Maggie thinks that it is her job to hold him down I guess!
Okay, just so you don't have to wonder...here is a brief run down of the last couple weeks.
First off, the stove/oven quit. Not a part that could just be fixed, but completely dead. So, with a twinkle in my eye (and not knowing what the future would hold) I very happily picked out a new one with everything that I wanted! Yeah!
The next week, the dryer quit drying! After towels running through the cycle 3 times we finally decided something was wrong. But, who has time to look right then? So, a day went by, maybe two and the laundry is getting piled. Nick looks at it and after much grumbling finally thinks he know what is wrong. I take the part down to the appliance shop, and they don't carry it, etc.
To make a long story shorter, I still don't have a dryer 10 days later, and I am TIRED of stringing towels across my living room at night. Not to mention the dogs love to jump up and pull them down. We look total red neck around here. But, there is hope that the part will arrive with in the next week........GROAN!
Now, this week I went to bed to find a note on my pillow from Abi. It was quite a nice note, but at the bottom it said she needed a way to raise $200 for some retainers that she needed to RE-Purchase!!!!! She threw them away at school by accident.....mind you she has only had them 2 weeks! AHHHHHHHHH!
To top this all off........Zeke (the old dog) has been barfing for about 3 weeks and finally I had to take him to the vet. He is on Medicine for contaminated water and we must feed him only boiled chicken and rice....Oh Brother, what next?
So, as you can see....Happy Dogs makes a happy day for me this week! At least one thing is making a turn for the better!
