Welcome Maggie Jo!

Maggie Jo arrived home February 21, 2008.
She was 7 weeks old, and about 2 1/2 pounds.
She is VERY active and loves to have fun! Maggie loves her new brother, Zeke, and is warming up to Blackie. She absolutely loves Nick, puts up with me, and thinks the kids are great fun to get in trouble with.
Maggie Jo the first night at home!

Maggie so sleepy......asleep in her food dish!

Here she is helping lift weights. She is not afraid of anything, or anyone and is game for it all!

Oh, she is a Bishon-Yorkie-Poo....another words, a mutt!!

She will most likely grow to be about 25 pounds or so....at least if looking at her parents means anything.

By the way......

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
I woke up this morning to the kids giggling in the hallway. It was a surprise to have them up with out being asked, so that was my first suspicion. When I came out to the living room, there was a BIG boquette of flowers, roses, lilies, mums, etc. Sitting beside it was an XXL bag of peanut M&M's and a card from................................my husband of course! How nice of him, even if my kids thought it was silly, embarrasing or what ever teenagers think of their parents. Maybe they will learn a few tricks for when they have a girl/boy that they love!! Hope each of your Valentine's day is special also!
Oh, I almost forgot. I also got an invitation to Anthony's for lunch with Nick. My favorite restaurant with my favorite husband!!

Cat's, Dogs & Kids!

Our life seems to keep busy, but when I look at the pictures of the month so far, we look rather boring!! Oh well, here they are!
Kitty decided that Costco boxes are better than any bed we could ever buy. Cat's are so unpredictable! So much for buying him anything nice anymore. Now, I can use needing to get a box for the cat as an excuse to go back to Costco. Since there are no "Other" reasons for going there!!!!

Talon plays on 2 basketball teams, and has major work-outs in PE (unlike I ever had in middle school) and comes home and does push-ups before bed. Crazy kid!

I think it might be paying off....are those muscles that I see?!? Can you believe that my baby boy weighs 157 pounds and I don't see an ounce of fat on his body. Six more pounds and he will match his dad on our wedding day!!

This cracked me up. What are the chances of snapping the picture at the right time? Talon and Zeke were playing and throwing the dog toy up in the air and seeing who could get it first. This time it never came down and you can tell by the look on their faces they both can't believe it. The dog toy is stuck on the fan blade!

Winter Project!

It is rainy/snowy/windy and cold, so out comes the inside "To Do" list!
(Nick says his list looks different than mine!)
I decided that the bathroom needed some updating. So, 1 1/2 months ago I started painting it. Than, couldn't decide what kind of trim I wanted, and couldn't quite get it put together. So, I waited a while to see what would come to me! It came, and I love it! Here is the new flooring that we put it.....I highly recommend it if you like the rustic look.....It is really cool!

Here it is with the new cabinet up above where the toilet should be. (by the way, what a pain to have a bathroom out of commission, how pampered we get, and don't even know it till it is gone!)

TA-DAH!

I love it, Thank You Nick!

All in a weekend's work!(amongst basketball games, an archery competition shoot, no groceries, grumpy teenagers, and a antsy wife!)

Time for An Update!!

Sonics Game! We thought maybe if we went to a game
we could insure a win........Nope!
We had a ton of fun, and look forward to going again!

This picture cracks me up! Look at how many of us are

eating licorice! I think all but one of my nieces and nephews made it! So, we were quite a crowd!

As we were leaving, the space needle was all lit up. The picture does not do it justice. It is amazing how easy it is so take your own city/state for granted. Sometimes we need to be a tourist in our own area!!
