Kids behind the camera!

Life has been stagnant around here! We have been just taking it easy and the kids driving me nuts. Here are some pictures they took. I did get some fun having my sister visit for 5 days with my nephew, Evan. The kids were entertaining us with their lovely jokes and sarcastic comments.
Oh, and I won't forget that my brother took us sisters to the Mariner game! What a blast, and on top of it...they won!! Oh, and might I say the fish and chips were wonderful, along with the nachos and garlic fries....thanks for the good time, Hughie!!
Talon was thoroughly impressed with his artistic abilities........what grade is he in?!? Once upon a time, Talon and Evan were bored. They decided to build the tallest Jenga tower ever. They were well on their way until all the blocks were used. Since that was boring, they decided to build a wrecking ball out of thread and the kitty play ball...they took turns missing it. Karate chopping was much funner and made the blocks sail farther across the room. Oh, BOYS!

Wake Boarding....AGAIN!

With the weather being so nice, we have been soaking up all the sun we can get. Today was Nick's day off, and we headed out again. It was overcast, but warm and enjoyable. We packed a picnic lunch and loaded the dog! Not only did everyone wakeboard, but the kids love diving off the boat and swimming!
Abi jumping! What a cutie-pie! She is even grinning, and.....if you look closely her hair is still dry! Nick getting some air! He is getting really good, even if he does have to wear a brace on his knee! I think he got 6-8 feet, but he just smiled and said maybe 4 feet. Don't you think it looks like more than 4 feet of air? Talon getting in some jumps, too! He even got a jump going toe side. That just means coming into the wake with your back to the boat! He's been working on that this summer! He also got some 180's in! Oops! got it in twice. I was really trying to put a pic of Talon driving the boat. He had fun pulling Nick while I took pictures.

Riding Horses!

Abi decided that she wanted to learn how to saddle the horses herself. This way when she comes to visit, she can head out to the barn on her own and ride away.....well, that is if g'pa let's her!
The kids had a blast, and we had fun watching them. The horses are a tad on the chubby side and so I am not sure they enjoyed it quite as much as the rest of us!
G'pa helping Abi cinch up the saddle! Off she went, trying to get "Squeaky" to gallop. Now, here is a real cowboy....shorts, flip-flops, and baseball cap backwards! That is Talon for you! Kadence enjoying her ride on "Sprinkles", being led by Talon! Kadence in deep thought! What a cutie!
Picking up the kids!
We met Nick's sister at G'ma & G'pa Ross' to pick up the kids!
It was 100 out one day and decided to go to the river to cool off. The guys went fishing...
we went swimming!
G'ma, Dawn, Kadence, Slade and Abi Talon fishing at the marina where they met us for a picnic. Talon had a blast,
catching 4 fish, I think that is what he said. Abi day dreaming in the sun!
The weekend before the 4th those in my family that could came to visit at the lake!
We had a great time, playing games, skiing, swimming, and staying
up waaayyyyy too late!
Here we all are! From left to right:
Lynn, Court, Dad, Mom, Grammy, Hugh, Chandra, Evan, Jill, Les, Nick and Me!

It was a beautiful day and thought we would get a picture of Nick and I!

The kids were out of town for a couple weeks visiting other family.......lucky us, or lucky kids!

'Tis that time of year!
The weather is getting to be hot, and the water warm.
We head out to the lake, only 5 miles away, every chance we get!
Boating out on Big Lake, WA Uncle Hugh taking a plunge.....ooops! A boat load! Nick taking some of the nephews and a neice with their friends!
