We are out to get a truck load of wood for next winter. Talon and Zeke are being the boys that they are are and playing with sticks. Do they ever grow out of this stage?!?
After dragging the tree out and cutting the limbs off, Talon is being his helpful self! This is the first step in all activities with a teenager.....mess first, then work!

Now comes the working part! Talon kept his arms busy, but the mouth was still going! I think that is why Nick wears the ear plugs, not because of the chainsaw noise!Anyway, we got a full load and are done for the year! Whew! It is always a relief to get that taken care of, and feel ready for winter.
