Cake Classes!

Chandra and I are taking cake decorating classes together! The first week I had some frosting issues that I had to get worked out, the second week went a little better! We are having a ton of fun!

This was the cake from the 2nd week! We didn't get to choose our design, but HAD to make clowns! Oh well, now we know how to make them!

This is the first week! As you can see, I started getting a split down my cake top. It was way too soft, and my strawberry filling was too soft also! Live and learn! I did like the cherries tho'!!!

Camping in the FALL!

Playing mini golf under pine trees that had dropped tons of needles! Abi keeping Chandra company while she was fishing in the river! All huddled in our trailer while playing games...didn't know so many could fit around the table in a 5'x5' space!! The dogs sacked out after a hard day of camping! It is draining to play all day and catch frisbee's, chase each other and the kids! Here we all are! Notice all the layers! It was REALLY cold in the mornings! The cabin that Hugh & Chandra and some of the kids stayed in. It was really cute. You can see the frost from the first morning! We were laughing, if you zoom up on the picture you can see what is on their porch. A good representation of them....whiffle ball, and diet coke!! Here is our site, just across the field from the cabin. Zeke getting his morning excersize. Flying through the air to keep his feet from touching the frost! Smart Puppy! We had a great time, thanks for going with us Hughie and Chandra and Evan! We got our fill of campfires and card games till next time!!
